In our lives, we have all come across someone new. Whom we've never seen, whom we've never had the slightest idea we'll come across. We've had good times with some of them and made beautiful memories. Some hurt us, we did hurt some even when it was not intentional. Some we're still in touch with, some left by our side and became another contact in our phonebook. Others sadly left, not to another country, not by our side, but they moved on... to another life, which we're promised to inherit once we've lived a righteous life here on earth. They're still engraved in our memories and our hearts.  All of a sudden, they became familiar strangers. For the two decades i have lived, life has taught me valuable lessons. Some a bitter pill to swallow... well most of them have been like those Double Biology lessons in the afternoon after a heavy githeri( mixture of maize and red beans) meal. Boring and never thought it was of importance until it came aback. They say...

Each person in existence, has their own song that they sing, For some people you meet, Your song will blend beautifully together while other times, they will not, For your souls carry a different resonance, and though you may try to sing in harmony, it is not possible. And is not that your song or their song is more beautiful, but simply that they are out of tune with one another,  and they are others with voices, that would blend more beautifully with yours. And though some songs may fade from your life, It does not matter, for you are the main melody, And others are merely the accompaniment in your life, Just as you are the accompaniment in theirs. And so, you must continue singing your song, trusting that it will draw towards you, the people who are singing songs that will harmonize with yours. For one thing's certain, there is someone out there, Who will match your song, And when you finally sing together, You will sing as one; you will be equally yoked!

  To love is to be kind, to love is to show compassion. To love is to have the desire to go an extra mile on behalf of the other person. But above all, to love is to become understanding; even in the face of utmost questioning... you still choose to believe them, to tolerate them... Love dear ones, doesn't pass judgement! The story begins on a journey back home. A journey of 250 km. Journey of roughly 3hrs 45 min. A journey that taught us a lot. We the listeners as well as those present in the bus that day. It's a journey that left us questioning our life choices... Those of us who were listening! This is a story told last Sunday by our preacher, the man who i like to sit and listen to. He says to love is to sacrifice yet it is priceless. It's what gives us hope when we feel things are off-course. He says to love is to find JOY... J esus O thers Y ou . It is being selfless... It is to foster understanding even when we not obligated to do so. This love, is patient. this love...
